Nick Dinges - Owner, CEO
Firefighting has been a passion of Nick's since childhood riding to fire calls with his brother and father. He is a Third Generation in Four Generations of Firefighters in the Dinges Family and has (9) Members of his family in the Fire Service. In 1997, Nick began his firefighting career as a Firefighter/EMT and participated in the Student-Live in Program while attending Western Illinois University. In 2001, he was hired by the Rockford Fire Department and became a Career Firefighter/Paramedic with assignments in some of the busiest companies in the Midwest. In 2008, Nick and his family moved to Amboy, Illinois, and he joined the Amboy Fire Protection District where he moved up through the ranks to the position of Captain. Currently, Nick lives in Sublette and is a Lieutenant and Paramedic with the Sublette Fire Protection District. In his spare time, he enjoys golf and is the President of Sublette-365, Instructs Smoke Recognition Training at SVCC, and is a Member of the Amboy Education Foundation and Amboy FFA Alumni Chapter. Nick joined the company in 2002, partnered in 2003 and became the Vice-President. In 2011, he took over as the Owner and CEO of Dinges Fire Company.

Jeff Bryant, Sr. - President
Jeff has been with Dinges Fire Company since its start up in 2002. He has been in the fire service since 1988 and is an Advanced Firefighter, EMT, Fire Officer I, and Instructor II and currently serving as the Chief of the Amboy Fire Protection District. He has been an officer and served with the following organizations: Blackhawk Firefighters Association (President), MABAS 38 (Vice-President), Lee County 911 Board, Illinois Firefighter Association, Amboy Police Commission, and Sauk Valley Community College Fire Science (Coordinator).

Brad Aude - Northwest IL
Brad has been a member of the Chadwick Fire Department since 1988, where he has been serving as Chief since 1998. He is an EMT, Firefighter II, Fire Instructor I, Hazardous Materials Operations, Vehicle Machinery Operations, and Carroll County (IL) Fire Safety House Instructor. He has also served on the Blackhawk Firefighter Association Executive Board as President.

Tracy Fleming - Northeast IL
Tracy has been in the fire service for 35 years. His current certifications include; Advance firefighter, EMT-B, Fire Officer I, Haz- mat Operations and I/C, Vehicle Machinery Ops, Rope Ops, Fire Inspector I, Instructor I, and he is Instructor with Sauk Community College. Tracy served at Boone County Fire District #1 in Capron for just over 28 years, as an Engineer, Training Officer, Assistant Chief, and then became Fire Chief in 1992. Tracy held the office of Chief for 17 years before moving to Amboy, where he currently serves as a Captain for the Amboy Fire Protection District. Tracy also served 3 years on the Winnebago County Fire Chief’s Association and was also a board member of Illinois MABAS Division 8. Tracy retired after 36 years with Illinois Tollway as a Facility Manager in November 2010. Since January of 2011, he has been working for Dinges Fire Company selling equipment and Toyne Fire Apparatus. Tracy married to Margaret Payne Fleming in August 2013. Tracy has 2 sons; Brian Fleming (married to Jenny with 3 daughters) is a fulltime firefighter/paramedic at North Brook Fire Department, and Tim Fleming (married to Sarah with a daughter and a son) is a Boone County Sheriff’s Detective.

Bethany O'Connell - Central IL
Bethany has been with Dinges Fire Company since May 2013. She has been a volunteer firefighter and EMT since 2007, starting at Amboy Fire Protection District and now with Sherman Fire Protection District. Bethany graduated from Western Illinois University in 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in Emergency Management with minors in Fire Administration and Homeland Security. Bethany is a certified FFII, Instructor I, EMT-Basic, Emergency Medical Dispatcher, and Emergency Fire Dispatcher. Bethany resides in Sherman, IL with her husband Collin (Springfield IL Fire) and their 2 children.

Chuck Cross - Western Iowa
Chuck has been a full time Firefighter Paramedic for the Indianola Fire Department (IA) for 21 years and is a certified Firefighter II, Fire Inspector I, Fire Instructor II, Fire Officer II, Flight Medic, Critical Care Paramedic, and CPR Instructor. He also serves as an instructor for the Warren County (IA) Fire Academy.

Joe Solcani - Chicago Area
Joe has been with Dinges Fire Company since April 2010. He currently serves as a relief Lieutenant with the Chicago Fire Department with 17+ years of service to Chicago & over 20 years in the fire service, starting in 1993. He has been a certified paramedic since 1993. Joe holds the Illinois Firefighter 3 certificate, Instructor 2, as well as many technical rescue courses. Additionally, Joe has been a Field Staff Instructor with the Illinois Fire Service Institute since 2006. He teaches with the following programs: Rit Under Fire, Fire College, Fire Cadet Explorers, Engine Company Operations & Smoke Divers. Chaon Hanson - Eastern Iowa
Chaon is a 4th generation firefighter, following in the footsteps of his great grandfather down to his uncles. In 2010, Chaon joined the fire service with the Sublette Fire Protection District as a firefighter. He then continued his education and obtained his EMT-B license as well as an Associate's degree in Fire Science from Rock Valley Community College. Shortly after that he enrolled in the paramedic program through OSF St. Anthony's in Rockford where he received his paramedic license. In 2014, Chaon reached his lifelong goal of being hired as a full time firefighter by the City of Rock Falls. Currently, Chaon is a firefighter/paramedic with the Rock Island Fire Department. Recently, he moved to Moline with his fiance. In his spare time, he enjoying playing golf, being outdoors, and volunteering his time to the community.

Jack Redieske – Southern Wisconsin
is a former member of the South Beloit Fire Department (SBFD) where he served for 35 years and retired as Captain in 2013. During that time he served as an Officer, Shift Commander, Incident Commander, Instructor, and an EMT for most of his career. He was also on the extrication team for 18 years while on SBFD and is a member of Transportation Emergency Rescue Committee (TERC). He is currently a Regional Judge for TERC, a Certified Instructor 1 for the State of Illinois and Instructor for Monroe Fire School in auto extrication. Jack is also a member of the Auto X instructor team, a mobile training team that travels the Midwest teaching and learning auto extrication.

Orin Snodgrass – Apparatus Sales Manager
Orin has been in the
fire service for over 37 years. He started his service as a volunteer at the
age of 18 in November, 1979. He was hired as one of Byron Fire Protection Districts’
first career firefighters in November of 1981. He served as a firefighter for
13 1/2 years prior to being promoted to Lieutenant in spring of 1995. He held
that position for ten years and was promoted to Deputy Chief in 2005. Orin
served as Deputy Chief of operations for just over 11 years; retiring in
June of 2016 to join the team at Dinges Fire Company as a Toyne Fire Apparatus
Orin is a certified Fire Officer II, Firefighter III, and Illinois state licensed paramedic. He holds multiple technical rescue certifications and is a certified Instructor II. As operations chief one of his roles was fleet maintenance and writing specifications for new apparatus. He is excited to transition his experience in apparatus maintenance and purchasing into his role as a Toyne Apparatus sales person.
He married his wife Diana in the spring of 1985. They have two adult children (Audra and Jimmy). They also have one granddaughter who her mother claims they spoil!!

Josh Wagner – Bullard Product Specialist
Josh has been in the fire service since 2000 and is currently a Firefighter/Paramedic for the Naperville Fire Department. He is the IAFF Local 4302 Shift Steward, an AFFI Honor Guard Member, and a member of the Naperville FD/MABAS 16 Technical Rescue Team. Josh has a Bachelor's Degree in Fire Service Management from Southern Illinois University and currently has certifications as Advanced Firefighter, Fire Officer II, Incident Safety Officer, Rope Tech, Confined Space Ops, Trench Ops, Vehicle Machinery Tech, and Haz Mat Tech A. Andrew Strong - Southern Illinois
Andrew has been in the fire service for 10 years, following in his late father's footsteps. He serves as a Lieutenant for the Salem (IL) Fire Protection District.
