In 2017, Dinges Fire teamed up with AMKUS Rescue Systems to offer our customers their full product line of rescue tools, including their hydraulic and battery powered ION tool family, powered by the DeWalt FLEXVOLT platform.  With their short tool length, unparallel balance, and all aluminum housing, AMKUS Rescue Tools are built for the fire rescue services.

Started by George Weigand, the business began by importing German-made hydraulic tools, and after relationships changed, George decided to take a risk and manufacture the rescue tools himself in the United States.  From those beginnings, AMKUS grew into one of the most trusted names in rescue equipment today.  Their tools have stood the test of time in the fire service, and since 1984, AMKUS has been partners with NASCAR with their tools being utilized by the Track Services Team at every NASCAR-sanctioned event.
