James Plieth and Letty Azar, co-owners of Snap Fitness, a gym in Harrison Township, MI offer their clients something different.
“We wanted to create a unique experience for our clients,” said Plieth. Their “Train Like A Fire Fighter” is a functional fitness class that simulates tasks fire fighters might complete on a call.

Wyoming, Iowa – Dinges Fire Company (Amboy, Ill) recently acquired Fox Apparatus Repair & Maintenance, adding a fourth mobile service unit to its fleet.
Derek Feuss, owner of Fox Apparatus Repair & Maintenance, joined DFC in 2020 as a sales representative serving fire departments in northeast Iowa. He will continue in this role while joining the mobile service department.

On the morning of December 4th, 2021, Captain Garrett Ramos, Sterling Fire Department, died in the line of duty. While battling a house fire in rural Rock Falls, IL a floor collapsed beneath him.
Immediately, Dinges Fire Company (Amboy, Ill) launched a memorial raffle to raise funds for the Ramos family. DFC partnering companies and vendors donated 46 fire service-related items to the raffle. Items include thermal imaging cameras, radio straps, helmets, extrication tools, and more. Currently, the total raised sits at more than $13,500.00.
